Ghazali Moinuddin discovered his artistic calling early in life, leading him to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 1999 and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in 2001 from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, one of India's top-ranked universities teaching fine arts. He has worked as a teacher at the Jamia Millia Islamia’s Fine Arts School Sector since 2003.

His breakthrough came when he developed his distinctive technique of painting his hands 30 years ago while in college. He chose to forgo traditional brushes in favor of an intimate, tactile connection with his work. "I can use ten brushes at a time," he often says. By working directly with acrylics and applying paint straight from the tube to the hands, he embraces a raw and organic creative process.

His paintings are known for their subtle emotional depth, embodying a deep reverence for nature and spirituality. Each piece evolves over months—even years—allowing for meticulous layering of colors and textures, manifesting in an immersive three-dimensional experience. Ghazali’s art is not merely visual but an emotional landscape, inviting viewers to pause and spend time with his work, mirroring the simplicity and complexity of the human experience.

Ghazali’s works are collected by high-profile curators, government officials, embassies, and private collectors, including:
